Ocean Ranger III is an Elliott 35SS. Built in New Zealand by Yachting Developments and she is the second 35SS to launch, after the famous Crusader. Formerly known as Bushido, she has won most double handed races in New Zealand before moving to the US as Inigo Montoya where she was sailed double handed - including the Newport to Bermuda 121.
Now in WA, she has been sailed as Ocean Ranger III fully crewed and 3 up. She is fully set up for double handed racing and could well be the double handed line honours champion for the next Sydney to Hobart.
Recent upgrades include: B&G processor, Toughbook, sail wardrobe designed by OneSails (who design sails for both boats) a new 20HP yanmar diesel engine (less than 1 hour) and antifoul in March 2023.
