With over 30 years of industry experience, our team have you covered. Our leader and founder Jason Rowed comes with a very impressive knowledge base. A World Champion sailor, having won numerous International Regattas, as well as the Sydney to Hobart race.
A qualified boat builder, and pro sailor, Jason also has a very successful track record in sales and marketing of new and used Yachts. He was instrumental in introducing the new Farr 30 and Farr 40 classes here in Australia and he went on to become International Brand manager for the impressive Marten Yachts brand. Most recently known for his very successful brokerage, Race Yachts.

Originally from South Australia, Scott has lived and breathed the boating industry his whole life. With yacht design in the family, it was an organic pathway that led him to train as a shipwright, continue to compete both nationally and internationally, and design and develop sport boats, of which his favourite is the competitive 8m sports yacht known as the Phuket 8.
Having been based in Thailand for the last 30 years, Scott has been a prominent influence in the development of the yachting industry within Thailand. During his several years as the Commodore of the Phuket Yacht club, Scott proactively instituted a flourishing youth sailing program, and continues to be an active advocate for Yachting throughout Thailand.
His life-long passion for boating coupled with an in-depth knowledge of Asian business and culture leaves Scott perfectly placed to assist Yachting First customers sell or purchase their sailing or motor yachts throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Growing up in Pittwater, James spent his younger years sailing dinghies and skiffs, and went on to complete his Shipwright (Boatbuilding) trade. He naturally progressed into a very successful competitive sailing career, both in Australia and abroad. As a sought-after pro sailor, James has competed in, and won, some of Australia’s premier races on several of the leading race yachts in Australia and beyond, from MC38s, TP 52’s to Superyachts.
In recent times James has founded and managed his successful yacht management and maintenance business which caters for a wide client base of motor, sailing, and racing yachts.
With his sailing achievements combined with his business skills and boat building background, James brings a wealth of knowledge to the table and is perfectly positioned to assist you in all aspects of boat ownership.
