Farr 50 Virago II
Virago II is certainly one of a kind, originally designed by Bruce Farr as one of the late Allan Bonds racers. Built-in high-tech composites by the specialist builder Peter Milner in WA, keeping her sporty to sail but also giving her ample interior volume for the beautiful boat that she has become today. Her lines are timeless which keeps her easy on the eye. Finished with a beautiful laid teak deck and surrounding bulwark its hard to not love this one.
On deck she has a minimalist style which makes her look much younger that she is, smart ideas and well executed systems make her a breeze to sail. Twin helm stations with control pads for the electric furler, electric traveller and electric mainsheet just bring a smile to any face.
